Odyssey of the 8th Fire is complete to date,
I will publish the Epilogue here as it unfolds.

Welcome to Odyssey of the 8th Fire, a web site telling a true, epic saga of North America in our era of transition.
As one pilgrim, I invite you to come along on the odyssey: the long story of our sacred passage on foot across North America from the Eastern Door of the Atlantic to the Western Gate of the Pacific.
Odyssey is also the story of our meetings with dozens of traditional, learned elders of North America, as well as a reflection of our collective earth passage from an old time to a new time.
Recognizing that Odyssey of the 8th Fire is a long and demanding spiritual quest, many readers choose to progress step by step. They read the account of one day of the pilgrimage at a time, returning the next day to progress a step further, thereby emulating the progress of the pilgrims over the many months traversing the vast back of Turtle Island (North America).
When the right time arises, I will write the conclusion and the epilogue for Odyssey of the 8th Fire, and publish those reports on these web pages.
With respect, Steven McFadden, author

"I ask you to listen not just with your minds. I ask you to listen with your hearts, because that is the only way you can receive what it is -- what we are giving. These are the teachings of our hearts.
"This walk is going to take eight or nine months. There are lots of elders out there across Turtle Island, and they have many beautiful teachings, many teachings that all the people need now. It is our hope, it is our prayer that they will come forward now that the Eastern Door is open
"It is our prayer that they will meet us as we walk; that they will teach and share what they understand from their hearts. Be patient. Listen to the elders. You need patience to receive these teachings. It doesn't all come at once. You need patience."
