Day 120 – Friday, October 20, 1995 - I had a brief phone conversation with Regula (Rella) Vellacott, who has flown from her home in Switzerland to be with the walk in Oklahoma. This is her second extended visit to be part of our pilgrimage.

Rella told me that in her view the group is getting better. "They see the problem there with Tom," she said, and Tom keeps away from the group."

“It's a big bag of problems," she said. "Tom is aware of what he did to the group, but the group has not confronted him as one. The incident with Brianna was swept under the carpet. But it will come up again. I’m sure of that. There is no way to pretend that everything is fine. There is no way to escape the real issues. They will come up again sooner or later."

The Sunbow 5 base camp will be moving again. This time camp is moving onward 50 miles west to the grounds of the Catholic Mission in Seminole, Oklahoma.

An ancient ceremonial mask recovered from the mounds in eastern Oklahoma. Sophisticated cultures inhabited the region for many hundreds of years before European armies arrived and claimed ownership of the land under the authority of Kings, authority derived from edicts issued by the Pope in Rome.
